CS Audit — Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Effective March 3, 2026
TL;DR — The Short Version
CS Audit audits agencies, not people. We cross-reference your child support records against published state and federal guidelines to find errors, inconsistencies, and enforcement issues. We never report on the other parent.
We are not lawyers. CS Audit generates fact-based audit reports — not legal advice, legal strategy, or court filings. Always work with a licensed attorney.
Your data is encrypted and yours. Documents you upload are end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read them. You can delete your data at any time.
You must be 18 or older. We do not collect data about children. COPPA compliant.
We operate under the FCRA. CS Audit is a Specialty Consumer Reporting Agency. Your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act apply to reports we generate.
CS Audit is a product of Adam & Lynn Incorporated ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a Delaware corporation. CS Audit operates as a Specialty Consumer Reporting Agency as defined under 15 U.S.C. § 1681a(f) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
By accessing or using CS Audit at adamnlynn.com/cs-audit or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms supplement the general Adam & Lynn Incorporated Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the general Terms, these CS Audit-specific Terms control with respect to the CS Audit Service.
1. Service Description
1.1 What CS Audit Does
CS Audit is an administrative compliance audit tool. It cross-references child support agency records, court orders, payment histories, and enforcement actions against published state guidelines, federal regulations, and statutory requirements. The Service generates Fact-Based Specialty Reports ("Audit Reports") that identify:
- Calculation errors in support obligations
- Inconsistencies between court orders and enforcement actions
- Guideline deviations without documented justification
- Procedural compliance issues with state and federal requirements
- Payment processing and distribution discrepancies
1.2 What CS Audit Does NOT Do
CS Audit does not:
- Provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal strategy
- Report on, profile, or evaluate other individuals — including the other parent in a case
- Draft court filings, motions, or legal documents
- Recommend specific legal actions
- Interpret law or predict case outcomes
- Replace the need for a licensed attorney
- Guarantee any particular legal or financial result
1.3 Audit Reports
Every Audit Report generated by CS Audit carries the following header:
"This document is a Fact-Based Specialty Report prepared under 15 U.S.C. § 1681a(f). It audits the accuracy of data furnished by child support enforcement agencies and is not a substitute for legal advice."
Audit Reports are intended for review by the account holder and their licensed attorney. You may share Audit Reports with your attorney, the court, or the child support agency at your discretion.
2. FCRA Compliance
2.1 Specialty Consumer Reporting Agency
CS Audit operates as a Specialty Consumer Reporting Agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.). Audit Reports constitute "consumer reports" as defined in 15 U.S.C. § 1681a(d), limited to the specific purpose of auditing the accuracy of child support agency records.
2.2 Your FCRA Rights
Under the FCRA, you have the right to:
- Access all information in your file
- Dispute inaccurate information
- Request correction or deletion of inaccurate data
- Know who has accessed your report
- Consent before reports are provided to third parties
- Sue for damages if your FCRA rights are violated (15 U.S.C. § 1681n and § 1681o)
2.3 Permissible Purpose
Audit Reports are generated solely at the request of the consumer (you) for the purpose of reviewing the accuracy of your own child support records. We do not furnish Audit Reports to employers, landlords, creditors, or any third party without your explicit written authorization.
2.4 Dispute Resolution
If you believe any information in an Audit Report is inaccurate, you may file a dispute by contacting us at support@adamnlynn.com. We will investigate the dispute within 30 days as required by 15 U.S.C. § 1681i.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use CS Audit. We do not knowingly collect, process, or store data about children under 13 (COPPA compliance) or minors under 18.
3.2 Account Creation
To use CS Audit, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
3.3 One Case Per Account
Each CS Audit account corresponds to one child support case. If you have multiple cases, you may create separate accounts for each. You may only audit cases in which you are a named party (obligor or obligee).
3.4 Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will destroy your encrypted data within 30 days unless retention is required by law. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
4. Data & Privacy
4.1 What We Collect
CS Audit processes the following categories of data that you provide:
- Court orders and modifications
- Payment histories and ledgers from child support agencies
- Enforcement actions (wage garnishment orders, license suspension notices, contempt filings)
- Income documentation (for guideline recalculation verification)
- Agency correspondence
4.2 Encryption
All documents uploaded to CS Audit are encrypted using AES-256-GCM with per-company encryption keys. Documents are encrypted before storage and can only be decrypted by your account. We cannot access the content of your uploaded documents.
4.3 No Reporting on Other Individuals
CS Audit does not collect, store, or report information about the other parent, their finances, their behavior, or their personal life. Audit Reports focus exclusively on agency records, agency procedures, and agency compliance with published guidelines.
4.4 Data Retention
Your data is retained for the duration of your active account. Upon account deletion, all encrypted documents and audit data are permanently destroyed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated statistical data (e.g., error rates by state) may be retained indefinitely.
4.5 Children's Data
CS Audit processes parent-to-agency interactions and administrative records. If uploaded documents contain information about minors, that information is encrypted and accessible only to the account holder and their designated attorney. We do not extract, index, or process data about minors.
5. Subscription & Payment
5.1 Pricing
CS Audit offers the following subscription tiers:
- Standard: $9/month — Full audit engine, court-ready reports, document upload, state guideline analysis
- Pay What You Can: $1–$9/month — Same features as Standard, available for those experiencing financial hardship
- Attorney Portal: $149/month — Multi-client management, bulk audit processing, case notes, direct report sharing
5.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds for partial months.
5.3 Price Changes
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not apply to the current billing period.
6. Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL) Disclaimer
CS Audit is a data audit tool, not a legal service. The Service does not engage in the practice of law as defined by any state bar association. Specifically:
- Audit Reports identify factual discrepancies in agency records — they do not advise you on what to do about those discrepancies
- Guideline recalculation comparisons show how your state's published formula would apply to documented income — they do not constitute a legal opinion on what your obligation should be
- Enforcement compliance checks compare agency actions to statutory requirements — they do not constitute legal judgment about the legality of those actions
If you believe you need legal advice or representation, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our IP
CS Audit, Coen 1™, and all related branding, software, audit methodologies, and report templates are the intellectual property of Adam & Lynn Incorporated. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 No Guarantee of Results
CS Audit does not guarantee any legal, financial, or administrative outcome. Audit Reports are informational tools that identify potential issues in agency records. Whether and how to act on those findings is your decision, ideally made with the guidance of a licensed attorney.
8.2 Maximum Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability for any claim arising from your use of CS Audit is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8.3 No Consequential Damages
The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of income, loss of custody rights, or adverse court outcomes, arising from your use of the Service.
8.4 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Adam & Lynn Incorporated, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your misuse of Audit Reports, including any use that constitutes the unauthorized practice of law; or (d) any third-party claim arising from your sharing of Audit Reports.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@adamnlynn.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
9.2 Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Delaware or remotely at your election.
9.3 Arbitration Opt-Out
You may opt out of binding arbitration within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms by sending written notice to support@adamnlynn.com with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out."
9.4 Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
10.4 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the general Adam & Lynn Incorporated Terms of Service and the CS Audit Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the CS Audit Service.
